MyChristiana is a community site built for one purpose: making it easier to know what's going on in town — and to talk to each other about it.
Between markets, ward meetings, church events, school sport and municipal notices, most of what matters in a small town gets shared by word of mouth, a WhatsApp group, or a notice board that not everyone walks past. MyChristiana brings the calendar, the news, resident-written articles and local advertising together in one bilingual site — in Afrikaans and English — with a comment section under every post for people to weigh in.
What you'll find here
Calendar — markets, meetings, matches, services and municipal briefings, filterable by category.
News — municipal updates and safety notices, and longer pieces written by residents, searchable and filterable in one place — sign in to comment on any of it.
Advertising — a directory of local businesses and services.
